The City of Sioux Falls is partnering with South Dakota State University to host the Big Sioux Stewardship Summit. This 2-day event is a reimagining and expansion of the annual Big Sioux River and Sustainability Summit the City hosted previously. More details about speakers and bus tour locations will be announced at a later date.
The summit will bring together speakers and stakeholders in the community working on environmental initiatives in the region. Presentations and workshops will be focused on 3 areas: water resources, regenerative agriculture, and urban stewardship. Attendees can network at the summit’s vendor booths. Lunch will be provided. A full schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Big Sioux Stewardship Summit is free to attend, but online registration is strongly encouraged. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, April 2.
