Friends of the Big Sioux River Releases New Logo

Friends of the Big Sioux River, whose mission is to reduce urban and rural pollution of the Big Sioux River, is announcing the development and release of our new logo. With the growth of our member base and our continued community engagement, we felt it was time for an updated, refreshed brand. In developing the logo, we worked with Molly O'Connor, a Sioux Falls graphic designer. We worked to incorporate the North American River Otter, which has been reintroduced to the Big Sioux River by the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe. The logo works to instill the idea of a healthy ecosystem and provides a more approachable image. In addition to our new logo, we are updating our phone number to 605-679-6973. This will allow us to be more reachable, and to better serve our members and the community.About Friends of the Big Sioux River: We are on a mission to change the way we all think about our relationship with our river. We want to bring awareness to the plight of this cultural, economic and environmental backbone of Eastern South Dakota. And we’re here to inspire action among all who influence the quality of water within the watershed.
