Much has been said about the New Green Deal but mostly people have been speculating about what they think it is. Now you have a chance to find out!
Three South Dakota students are planning a 9 day, 21 stop, youth led Green New Deal Town Hall Tour of South Dakota. Their goal is to inform the public by hosting discussions about the climate crisis and how the Green New Deal goes about solving it.
Oliver Miner is 18 and will be attending Northern State University in Aberdeen this fall. She was elected Dewey County Committeeman at age 16.. She is excited to giving people a unbiased look at this resolution.
Carter Demaray is 16 years old and `a junior at Yankton High School. He is a nationally qualified debater, student council vice president and state student council president.
Briggs Warren is a Political Science major at the University of South Dakota who believes in bold policy ideas. He is energized for the upcoming Green New Deal town hall tour!
