Project AWARE teams with South Dakota on the Big Sioux
88 sponsors dug 29 tons of trash from a 91-mile stretch on the Big Sioux River!As Asian Carp jumped into their canoes, volunteers of the AWARE (A Watershed Awareness Expedition) cleaned out the stretch of the Big Sioux between Sioux Falls and Sioux City. The volunteers came from 11 different states, including Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.To read more about this wonderful project, visit the Lab Link.
